Kelly Racing returns to Super Two with Kelly and Cameron
Kelly Racing is gearing up for an exciting 2024 season in the Dunlop Super2 Series, as they announce their entry of two Ford Mustangs piloted by second-generation racer Mason Kelly and rising star Aaron Cameron.
Under the SCHRAMM Group Racing banner, the team, led by former Bathurst 1000 winner Todd Kelly, is set to make a statement at the upcoming Thrifty Bathurst 500, marking the commencement of what promises to be a thrilling season.
Mason Kelly, having made his Supercars debut in Super3 last year, brings with him a wealth of experience despite his young age. With an impressive track record including four podium finishes and a fourth-place overall ranking in Super3, Kelly is poised to make his mark in Super2.
Joining Kelly is the talented Aaron Cameron, fresh off a successful stint in the S5000 series where he clinched the championship title. Cameron's transition to Supercars has been seamless, with notable performances in the final rounds of the 2023 season setting the stage for his full-time Super2 campaign.
Both drivers recently had the opportunity to put their Mustangs through their paces at Winton Motor Raceway, where they showcased their skill and familiarity with their new machines.
Speaking about his anticipation for the upcoming season, Mason Kelly expressed confidence in his ability to compete at a high level. With a strong testing performance under his belt, Kelly is eager to capitalize on the potential of his Mustang and is eyeing competitive results throughout the season.
Aaron Cameron echoed Kelly's sentiments, emphasizing his goal of consistently finishing within the top five. Drawing from his learnings in the previous season, Cameron is poised to leverage his experience and drive for success in every race.
As the season kicks off at Bathurst, both drivers are prepared to tackle the challenges ahead with determination and resilience. With the support of Kelly Racing and their partners, including SCHRAMM Group, Castrol, GTS Transport, and ACL, Mason Kelly and Aaron Cameron are primed to make waves in the Super2 Series and leave their mark on Australian motorsport.
